A Collection of songs inspired by moving to, and living in Portland, OR. Finding Home is a four part suite that was recorded entirely on my ipad while we drove across the country, moving to portland. It is meant to capture the different landscapes and the feelings inspired by them. The Resonance of Bridgetown and The Clearing were the first two songs I wrote after moving. They capture my feelings after first moving to the area. Empire Builder Vertigo was written, again entirely on my ipad, while traveling by train back and forth from Portland to Chicago and back. The other songs are my favorite areas and ideas associated with PDX, and my attempts to capture their essence in song. I hope you enjoy!
